OUR HISTORY

The Casa Grande Seventh-day Adventist Church has history dating back to 1936. The congregation is a part of the worldwide 20 million member Adventist denomination. The Adventist church is known for its whole-person approach to meeting the spiritual, physical, and educational human needs of its members and local community.

This was the original meeting place of the Casa Grande Seventh-day Adventist Church. The building still stands today, but is now the Pioneer Heroes Museum.

From 1963 to 1973 members met in various homes for their church services.

The Casa Grande church would begin to meet at Rebekah Hall, which today is the First Shiloh Baptist Church. (1973 to 1975)

The Casa Grande Church purchased land on 1867 N. Trekell Rd. in 1974. In 1975, the congregation began meeting in the newly built church. (1975 to 1994)

In 1991 a newer sanctuary was built adjacent to the original building, which was completed in 1994. (1994 to 2022)

With a desire to more effectively meet the needs of the local community, a historic building was purchased near Old Town Casa Grande and renovated to accommodate the growing “church plant” congregation. (opening July 2023)
