Modified Services Continue
As we continue to navigate the challenges presented by COVID-19, the Casa Grande Seventh-day Adventist Church continues to offer modified church services weekly on Sabbath (Saturday). Sabbath School classes for adults and children are from 10:00-10:55 a.m. The worship service is conducted when Pastor Soto is scheduled to speak at the Casa Grande church and runs from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Occasionally, one of the elders will speak following the Sabbath School classes when the pastor is not available. Masks are still a mandatory requirement for church attendance to ensure the safety of our church family.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world dramatically, even right here in Casa Grande, Arizona. The number of positive COVID-19 cases continues to rise and with it, the need to continue to be vigilant in protecting the health and safety of individuals through social distancing, hand washing, wearing masks, and coughing or sneezing into a tissue or your elbow. We are responsible for each other because we care for each other.
Some people have not returned to corporate worship because they do not want to take any chances on becoming infected with the virus. Some have not returned because they work in environments where positive cases abound and do not want to share the virus with others. Regardless of the reason, we can worship the Lord and be witnesses for Him wherever we are.
